Sender Rewriting Scheme (SRS)
The Sender Rewriting Scheme (SRS) is a technique related to email forwarding, considered a specialized form of Variable Envelope Return Path (VERP). SRS modifies the sender's address in forwarded messages to ensure compatibility with verification systems like SPF. For example, if you send an email from "hola@dominio.com," using the server of otrodominio.com with SRS, the sender's address is changed to hola=dominio@otrodominio.com. This allows the forwarded email to pass SPF verifications on the receiving server.
