Sender ID

The Sender ID, also known as sender, is the field that tells us who is sending the SMS message we have received. 

Usually, the sender is a number when the sender is a friend or a private contact. In the case of companies, organisations, customer services or premium services, the sender is usually either a Shortcode (a short numerical code) or the name of the business or sender itself so that it can be identified more easily.
