Setup my contact lists properly

Contact lists are much more than a name under which your contacts are gathered. Pay attention when setting up a list to define which details of your contacts should be stored and what information should be disclosed to them in your sendings.

• List Name: disclosed to your contacts when updating their profile, opening campaigns from a browser or subscribing / unsubscribing from your list.

• Language: you can choose the language of the forms.

• List Owner: displayed as the Sender Name in your sendings. Use something easily recognizable by your subscribers, such as the name of your company or service.

• Reply-to: e-mail address to which the users submit their replies. By default, we use the email with which you registered to Acrelia News, but additional email addresses can be setup and verified in the section Settings.

• Contact details: In Acrelia News, we want you to comply with regulations on commercial communications and therefore, your contact details are automatically inserted in the footer of your emails. This info correspond to those you specified when creating your list: make sure they are correct before completing a sending.

• Custom fields: Custom fields allow you to store extra information about your contacts. When creating your list, choose what extra information should be saved of your contacts. You can create new custom fields and add them to your list if necessary.

• Notifications: If you want to be notified of changes that occur in your lists, set the option "Receive notifications", you will be informed by email every time a contact subscribes or unsubscribes to your list.
