Understand the status of my contacts

Each contact of your list is assigned a status. Status allow us to make decisions when you perform sendings and allow you to monitor the quality of your contact lists.

 

Contact statistics

 

What does each status mean?

  • Active: A contact who will receive your next campaign sendings.
  • Pending: Someone who signed up for your list but did not click on the link sent by email to confirm his/her subscription.
  • Unsubscribe: A contact who unsubscribed from your list, or that you unsubscribed because he/she does not want to receive your emails anymore.
  • Disabled:  A contact that repeatedly gave reception failures in your campaigns, or in the contact lists of other users of Acrelia News, and thus has been deactivated by our system.
  • Hard bounce: A contact to which it is impossible to send your emails. Usually, this is because the e-mail address or domain does not exist, although there may be other reasons.
  • Spam report: A contact who reported the content of your email as spam and therefore do not wish to receive further emails from you. In the statistics of every contact, or of a campaign, you can get more details of the reason why your sending was marked as spam.
  • Inactive: All contacts that will not receive future emails. That is to say, all contacts whose status is cleaned, deleted, hard bounce and spam report. You can also decide to disable temporarily or permanently some contacts, marking them as inactive, even if they do not meet any of the above reasons.
